Tuesday 2/21

6:27 a.m. To Fairfield Pike to assist Mad River Medics with a 98-year-old male. The squad made transport.

7:20 a.m. To E. Main St. for a lockout. The vehicle was successfully unlocked.

Wednesday 2/22

8:01 p.m. To Grand Valley for a report of a disturbance. A neighbor heard arguing. Everything checked out OK.

9:04 p.m. To Indian Valley School for a report of two subjects looking into the school. The subjects were located and warned about being on school grounds after hours.

11:28 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for failure to display.

Thursday 2/23

12:47 a.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Marion. The vehicle left Speedway making a wide left turn continuing in the oncoming lane for a short distance. There were 8 occupants including three in the rear hatch area. The rear hatch was opened and the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana. One of the occupants had an active warrant and he was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle yielded a small pill bottle containing marijuana in a passenger’s purse. She was charged with drug abuse. The driver was given a warning for marked lanes. The occupant with the warrant was taken to the Clark County Jail.

6:25 a.m. To Spring Lake Circle to assist Mad River Medics.

3:23 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Joseph. The driver was warned about obeying a traffic control device.

3:57 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Rita. The driver was given a warning for making an improper turn.

4:10 p.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at I-70. The driver was given a warning for failure to display

4:24 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for assured clear distance.

5:03 p.m. To the 7900 block of Dayton-Springfield Rd. to assist a deputy with a disorderly 60-year-old male.

5:57 p.m. To N. Xenia Dr. for a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was found on Weinland St. in Park Layne and returned to her home.

9:31 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for marked lanes.

9:52 p.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at I-70. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

10:40 p.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at Speedway Dr. The driver was given a warning for marked lanes.

Friday 2/24

2:13 a.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

4:08 p.m. Traffic stop on E. Main at Indian on a vehicle with a cracked windshield. The driver said that he was under suspension, but had driving privileges. He showed the paperwork which allowed him only to drive to and from work. His passenger said that they had gone to Speedway to pick up beer and snacks. The driver was found to be under multiple suspensions, and had been cited for driving under suspension on 9/24/16. He was cited for driving under suspension and no operator’s license and the vehicle was towed.

4:51 p.m. To N. Xenia Dr. for a report of a missing juvenile. She returned home at 6:36 p.m. on Saturday.

6:36 p.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

Saturday 2/25

12:27 a.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for expired registration.

1:12 a.m. Traffic stop on the Speedway lot. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

6:59 p.m. Traffic stop in the 400 block of E. Main. The driver was given a warning for inoperative tail lights.

Sunday 2/26

12:18 a.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation and for marked lanes.

12:46 a.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at Speedway Dr. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

1:23 a.m. Traffic stop on Dayton at Beard. The driver was given a warning for an equipment violation.

1:43 a.m. An officer saw a vehicle leaving the Speedway lot. The driver sat at the exit for 30-45 seconds, then exited the vehicle, approached the officer and asked for directions to I-70. He was given directions and stood outside the officer’s window. He was asked for his license and gave a state ID card. He said he had no license. He was cited for no operator’s license and a valid driver arrived to take control of the vehicle.

2:40 a.m. Traffic stop on Taylor St. The driver was given a warning for failing to obey a traffic control device.

6:25 a.m. Traffic stop on Stine Rd. at S. Xenia. The driver was given a warning for failing to obey a traffic control device.

4:00 p.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at the I-70 overpass. The driver had a suspended license. She said she thought she had everything squared away. She was cited for driving under suspension.

4:34 p.m. Traffic stop on Domino’s lot. The driver was given a warning for failing to obey a traffic control device.

4:53 p.m. Traffic stop on E. Main at Winding. The vehicle’s registration had expired, and the driver said he was unaware of it. He was cited.

7:47 p.m. Traffic stop on Enon Rd. at Superior Dr. The vehicle’s registration and the driver’s license had both expired. The driver said that she was not aware of either. She was cited for both.
